TECHNICAL SUPPORT
What are the required specs to run APFX products?
0S Compatibility: MacOs 10.14 or newer, Windows 10 or newer.
System Requirements: X86-64 or Apple Silicon CPU with SSE / NEON support, at least 4GB RAM and 10Gb of free disk space.
I hear an intermittent noise, what can I do?
This is a limitation of the trial version: a ‘hiss’ sound will play every 40 seconds. If you have already purchased the plugin, you can learn how to authorize it here.
Why my plugin does not run?
Check the minimum requirements in the product page and make sure your device meets them.
No sound in the Standalone version
- Be sure to give the required permissions during the installation procedure
- The audio input may be muted: if you see a yellow banner on top of the plugin saying "Audio input is muted to avoid feedback loop" press "Settings" on the right of the banner, then uncheck the "Feedback loop" box
- Make sure your audio interface is set up correctly. Learn more on how to set up your audio interface: Video Tutorial
After a reboot the plugin goes back to trial mode, what I need to do?
This is a known problem of PRIMO 1.0 on some specific Windows PC. PRIMO 1.1 solves that issue. All you have to do is to upgrade (for free) to PRIMO 1.1 (download from here), go to Documents/PRIMO and delete all the license files (.apkey), and finally repeat the authentication procedure one last time.
What are the supported sample rates?
APFX products can be run at 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz and 96 kHz sample rate. 192 kHz support will be added in the future.
I hear some latency while I play, what can I do?
Try reducing the buffer size. This option is available in the settings of the standalone version of our products, or in your DAW.

On macOS the installation procedure ends with an error, why?
During the installation of a new audio plugin, sometimes macOS starts scanning all your plugins, and if you have another plugin with an expired trial, the procedure will fail and also the installation will end with an error. To avoid that, remove plugins with expired trial versions.
Why do I hear also my DI signal along with the processed one from the plugin/standalone app?
You have probably enabled the "direct monitoring" feature on your audio interface, you have to disable it in order to hear only the sound coming from the DAW/standalone app.
Why can't I see my presets and IRs?
Presets and IRs are stored in your documents folder, check that your DAW has the correct access rights to read/write from that folder.
The Tuner hardly recognizes the higher strings, what can I do?
If this happens, probably your input level is too low. Check the input meter, it should be green while playing open chords. If it's blue then your level is too low and you should increase it with the "input gain" control or directly on your audio interface.
Plugin added to the Blocklist in Cubase | Apple Silicon
Make sure you are using the Apple Silicon Native version of Cubase. When you open Cubase in the loading window you'll be able to read what version you are running in the bottom left corner: if you read "Rosetta" please visit this page and follow the procedure.
I get the "Missing VCRUNTIME140_1.dll" error, what do I need to do?
It's a common problem, you just have to install the missing DLL. You can install the latest version from here: Download DLL
